NCMA Aloha Chapter Annual Meeting/Membership Drive Event
Our next event is currently planned as a fun evening event with benefits for both members and newly-joining members at the event. We are planning a membership drive that evening and annual membership meeting combined.
Tentative plans are for Wednesday evening, 13 January 2010 at Sam Snead's Tavern at the Navy Marine Golf Course off Valkenburg St. We are looking at having personnel who've been deployed for contracting to either Iraq and Afghanistan to share both their impressions and funny experiences. Please plan to attend and most of all bring a friend who is a possible member. A more formal announcement will be posted and issued when all the details are available.
2 November 2009: AFCEA TechNet 2009 Acquisition Seminar, morning at TechNet 2009: Topic is Cyber Security- Its Acquisition and Environment (Co-Hosted by AFCEA and the Aloha Chapter National Contract Management Association, (NCMA)); event from 8 a.m. to noon with refreshments provided; location is Sheraton Waikiki Hotel, with cost of $30 and sign up on AFCEA TechNet 2009 website. Speakers include Ms Kathleen Miller, DISA Director of Acquisition, DOD CIO invited, and DOD Industry senior executive invited. Speakers will be followed by a short panel Q and A session.
